Vintage Magazines

I found two vintage magazines at an antiques shop near my workplace and couldn't resist buying them. One is from 1942 and the other from 1944 and consist mainly of short stories (which I haven't had the chance to read yet). They also have a lot of wartime fascinating messages, advertising, knitting patterns and sewing patterns mail ordering, though these last two not a lot. I'll leave you with a few scans, hope you enjoy!

  3. I love the "Mending can be really fascinating"? I will now read it - because my mending pile is growing very fast!

  5. Thank you all for you nice comments on these scans. I will probably scan a couple of the stories plus some adverts and publish them here again.
